The Laurie Dau Team is so pleased to announce that our Food Drive to benefit the Bucks County Housing Group’s Food Pantry was a HUGE SUCCESS! We partnered with other agents at our Long & Foster office to reach out to homes in Bucks County. Pennsylvania has cut off all state funding for food pantries, so we knew we wanted to take action. The entire project took a month of planning, and it was completely worth it! Our agents sent out postcards, made courtesy calls, dropped off bags, and picked up all of the donated food that was delivered on Saturday. Our sincerest thank you to all who donated and helped make this such a success. And a special thank you to our local ACME in Doylestown who kindly donated over 4,000 paper and plastic bags.
All in all, we were able to collect and donate over 4,000 pounds of food for the pantry!
