Laurie and her team were fantastic. They were very friendly and professional. The whole process was smooth from start to finish; they really have the entire process down to a science and had our home sold and settled well within the average “Days on Market” of comparable homes. Never once did we have to inquire about the status of our home – we were always being updated on showing results and other market activity.
Starting with the initial meeting, Laurie had done her homework ahead of time and provided us with a list of comps, a list of active properties, a recommended sales price, and a projected net proceeds worksheet. She also reviewed sales strategies as well as common mistakes and pitfalls. Finally, she completed a thorough walkthrough of our property and provided us with valuable feedback on steps we could take to add more curb appeal.
Upon listing with Laurie, Laurie and her team came in and and staged our property with wreaths, hand towels, shower curtains, etc to really make our property pop since it was vacant. One of her team members is a professional photographer and took some great pictures, accentuating the shine of the hardwood floors, the granite, and other property highlights.
Throughout the listing phase, we were provided with weekly updates on feedback from showings of our property and relevant market activity to make sure our home was maintaining a competitive edge against other homes on the market. This turned out to be very important in our case as there were ten or more properties for sale in our development.
During the contract phase, Laurie and her team did an excellent job negotiating buyer requests and recommending reputable local contractors to address any items that were agreed to.
All paperwork and settlement was a breeze. Laurie and her team prepped us on all the processes and paperwork and sent reminders when necessary.
